Delish Beads Review

I was recently given the opportunity to do a review for a company called Delish Beads.

They supplied me with a wonderful assortment of beads, cabochons, findings and chains.

Customer Service: I had a slight hiccup in the beginning. I had been e-mailing them about setting up everything for my review and I was just waiting for my package to arrive. I had been waiting a while with no package, so I e-mailed again asking about it. They quickly replied and said that my request had gotten looked over in the shuffle of things and would send out my package soon. I received my packaged within a few days after that. Excellent customer service. A+

Packaging:  Everything arrived to me safely with no packaging issues. Many items were in individual baggies and then everything was bundled together in bubble wrap. A+

Products: I love it all! Everything is so adorable and so well made. I feel like everything will hold up well over time. I love the variety of pieces that they sell and the various colors that you can get in items such as chain, jump rings and hair clips. I would absolutely recommend Delish Beads to anyone and everyone and will most definitely be buying from them again. A+

Other: They offer free shipping on everything you buy, no matter how much you spend! This is a great plus as I hate spending money on shipping when I could be spending that money on more product.

Below are a few projects that I created with the products Delish Beads sent me.

The chain on this one is from Delish Beads. The chocolate charm was created by me from polymer clay.

Digital Layout Share #5

Last year I had the opportunity to host a party through Crowdtap. It was a party for the newest Hawiian Tropic suntan lotion and it was a blast. I decided to create a layout with pictures from the party.

It's a two page layout, but I have always had issues in blogger trying to get two pictures to line up next to each other.

I used a digital kit by Jill Dzines called Celebrate Summer.

Slide Review (ARC)

TITLE: Slide
AUTHOR: Jill Hathaway
PUBLISHER: Balzer + Bray (HarperCollins)
 PUBLICATION DATE: 3/27/2012
PAGES: 256
MY RATING:
BACK COVER SUMMARY: Vee Bell is certain of one irrefutable truth -- her sister's friend Sophie didn't kill herself. She was murdered.
Vee knows this because she was there. Everyone believes Vee is narcoleptic, but she doesn't actually fall asleep during these episodes: When she passes out, she slides into somebody else's mind and experiences the world through that person's eyes.  She's slide into her sister as she cheated on a math test, into a teacher sneaking a drink before class.  She learned the worst about a supposed "friend" when she slid into her during a school dance. But nothing could have prepared Vee for what happens one October night when she slides into the mind of someone holding a bloody knife, standing over Sophie's slashed body.
Vee desperately wishes she could share her secret, but who would believe her? It sounds so crazy that she can't bring herself to tell her best friend, Rollins, let alone the police.  Even if she could confide in Rollins, he has been acting off lately, more distant, especially now that she's been spending more time with Zane.
Enmeshed in a terrifying web of secrets, lies, and danger and with no one to turn to, Vee must fine a way to unmask the killer before he or she strikes again.
OVERALL IMPRESSION: This was a pretty good book. The first chapter really sucked me in and got me interested in the story. As the story got closer to the end, the excitement kind of dropped off for me, but the book still held my attention. The ending was sweet and satisfying.

CHARACTERS: None of the characters in particular jumped out at me as being extraordinary, but there weren't any that I disliked either. They all seemed to be typical, average people, which made it easier to relate to everyone.

COVER: The cover is okay, not the greatest, but I like the color.
