Before I Fall

TITLE: Before I Fall

AUTHOR: Lauren Oliver

PUBLISHER: HarperCollins

PAGES: 470

MY RATING: (2 out of 5)

INSIDE COVER BLURB: What if you had only one day to live? What would you do? Who would you kiss? And how far would you go to save your own life?

Samantha Kingston has it all: the world's most crush-worthy boyfriend, three amazing best friends, and first pick of everything at Thomas Jefferson High--from the best table in the cafeteria to the choicest parking spot. Friday, February 12, should be just another day in her charmed life.

Instead, it turns out to be her last.

Then she gets a second chance. Seven chances, in fact. Reliving her last day during one miraculous week, she will untangle the mystery surrounding her death--and discover the true value of everything she is in danger of losing.

MY REVIEW: I did not enjoy this book as much as I wanted to. I had read lots of greats reviews of everyone loving this book so I had high hopes for it, but it just wasn't great for me. Reliving the same day over and over, while there were some differences, overall the same series of events seemed to happen to often. I thought most of the characters were way too shallow and the ending didn't leave me satisfied at all. On a positive note, I really love the cover of the book :)

  2. I love an honest review! I don't always like the books that everyone else gives 5 stars to.

  3. Wow, yours is the first review I've read that isn't a rave! Now I definitely have to read this myself and see what I think. I appreciate your candor.
